Kate, So glad to see these pictures from PA from April8 blog. We had understood that it had to be evacuated, but loved seeing the happy faces and life still “going on” at PA. Did the water system survive at all?
So glad you and Billy got to have a wonderful R&R in Michigan. I am sure your families loved that as well as you both did.
In case you did not see them,Terry and Suzanne Allen have been in Peru for the past 2 weeks but were advised not to go to Iquitos because of the flooding. Our team hopes to be back in November to check on the systems and install more.
Blessings to you and Billy as you do God’s work.

Beth, I believe the system was fine while I was in Puerto Alegria, but I don’t know what the state of it is now. I just heard from Jherry that the water has receded and that the staff and boys are moving back to the house this week or early next week. I didn’t see Terry or Suzanne, but maybe we’ll cross paths before they head home (if they haven’t already!)

    Hope all is well.

    Kate
